Binary Lives 1997 Steina a Woody Vasulka
The documentary film by Peter Kirby provides a comprehensive portrait of Steina and Woody Vasulka, since the late 1960s in New York, where they founded The Kitchen, to their final destination and home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Vasulkas explain their involvement with video and their relationship to technologies and art. The film was shot over a two-year period. It includes excerpts from the Vasulkas' video works, as well as other interviews.
